Hello Paul,
I found your page on the net and I'm sending you some info about my family,
that lives in Brazil.
My grandfather, Mauricio Birman, came from Bessarabia on early 20th century,
around 1912. He was born in 1888 and lived in Kishniev. He went first to
Argentina and after a few years came to Brazil. My father is Jacob Birman
and was born in São Paulo in 1928 so he's now 76 years old. I'm the younger
of three children. The others are Helena Cooper, born in 1955 (now living in
Ithaca, NY) and Flavio, born in 1957. I was born on 1959.
