In the spring of 2002 we fitted an Aquapro tender to the Rosemarie 3.  Made in New Zealand, with an aluminum hull and Hypalon inflated tubes, it weigh only 85 lbs.  A Nissan 5 hp 4-stroke outboard provides power.  To hoist it aboard, on top of the sunroof, a 400 lb-rated deck crane was installed by UMT.  This features an electric hoist to raise and lower the dinghy.

The deck crane stows alongside the dinghy on the sunroof and lowers the tender into the water.

Our friends, Paul and Bridie Lamparelli came down to inaugurate the new dingy boat tender.

The crane worked easily as we swung at anchor in Sunrise Bay.  The two Pauls took a brief ride around the harbor. Above:  Paul and Bridie on the rear deck of the Rosemarie 3
