Paul Birman Married since 1968 to Rosemarie, Paul is a retired electrical engineer (Brooklyn Polytech, now Polytechnic University) living summers on Long Island, NY and winters in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. He spent more than four decades in the power electronics business, most of that working for Kepco, Inc. a power supply manufacturer in New York. He has traveled widely domestically and to Asia and Europe pursuing business opportunities as Kepco's Marketing Manager.

Now in retirement, Paul consults occasionally on marketing and power electronic issues with his own company, ARC Lab Consultants.

Interests include Amateur (ham) radio (Call letters: WA2JPJ). Paul is a member of the Peconic Amateur Radio Club, PARC and the Electchester VHF Club EVHFC. He and wife Rosemarie enjoy power boating on Peconic Bay and Long Island Sound. Paul also pursues smallbore target shooting and is interested in computer imaging and photography, both still and video. He enjoys producing amateur videos of their various expeditions using a mini DV camera. The digital format allows for reasonable post-production editing.

Paul and Rosemarie operate a 24' Proline motorboat on the Peconic bays, between the forks of New York's Long Island and a 36' Albin trawler along the waterways of South Florida. They are members of the Coral Ridge Yacht Club.
