Community Day
At Congregation Tifereth Israel
In memory of Mr. Ed Prager

It rained, of course.  In the spring of 2003, this is not unexpected.  Despite the stormy weather, a goodly number of our congregants and friends and neighbors in the community showed up to sample grilled Hebrew National frankfurters with all the condiments, washed down with coke, iced tea and the like.

Our publicity said "rain date Sunday, June 8th" so, for everyone who had the good sense to get in out of the rain, we'll do it all over again next Sunday.

The organizing committee is joined by Southold Town Supervisor Josh Horton out on the lawn of the Andrew Levin Memorial Park, adjacent to the synagogue.

The grill was active all afternoon.

Hmmm… pretty good stuff

The repeat picnic on the rain-date, June 8th, was a lot less wet!

Pastor Ann, of the Orient Congregational Church stopped by for hot dogs and a chat with Gabbai Stanley Rubin.
